Conceptual language – Rhythm, Proportion, Form

As part of our studies, we were asked to express the concepts of "repetition" and "rhythm." I chose a stool because, to me, it represents stability. It offers rest to those who need a break from the repetitive race of life. The engraved triangles on the stool set the rhythm and repeat themselves, much like life itself. We all live in a repetitive, daily, routine rhythm, and it’s what keeps us grounded.
